This document provides the terms and conditions for website use and security, general information, booking and cancellation details, and the participation rules for escape room experiences operated by The Void. Participation in any The Void game constitutes the customer’s implied acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

1. WEBSITE USE AND SECURITY

1. The website www.thevoid.ro is owned and operated by The Void SRL (“the Company”).
2. The Company reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes take effect upon publication on the website.
3. These Terms and Conditions apply to all visitors and should be read carefully before use.
4. The Company strives to provide accurate and up-to-date information but cannot guarantee the absence of errors. Use of this website is at your own risk.
5. The website is for personal, non-commercial use only. Modification, copying, or redistribution without prior written consent is prohibited.
6. Use of the website for unlawful, harmful, defamatory, or obscene purposes is not permitted.
7. The Company takes appropriate measures to protect your information but cannot guarantee complete security of Internet transmissions.
8. The Company shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, or incidental damages (including loss of profit, opportunity, or data) arising from the use of this website.
9. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions affects consumers’ statutory rights.
10. Personal data is processed in accordance with GDPR Regulation (EU) 2016/679.
11. This website may include links to external pages; the Company is not responsible for their content or use.

2. GENERAL INFORMATION

1. Teams may consist of 2–7 players (8 accepted but not recommended). Players under 14 may participate only if accompanied by an adult. The minimum age for the “Tahicardia” room is 16.
2. Arrive 10–15 minutes before your booking time. Delays over 15 minutes will proportionally reduce your game duration, with no refund.
3. The Void games do not require special skills or physical force. Intentional damage to items must be compensated.
4. No video/audio recording or photography is allowed inside the room. The experience is monitored for safety and proper operation.
5. Personal items (phones, bags, keys, drinks) must be stored in the designated lockers.
6. Participation under the influence of alcohol or drugs is prohibited; entry may be refused/terminated without refund.
7. Abusive, antisocial, or threatening behavior will result in immediate termination without refund.
8. Participants with epilepsy, claustrophobia, or other conditions attend at their own risk.
9. Smoking is prohibited inside The Void premises.

3. BOOKINGS

1. Game prices are shown on the booking page and are displayed in RON.
2. The price of a game consists of a room fee and a per-player fee.
3. Bookings can be made online or by phone. In both cases, the booking is confirmed by an e-mail containing all necessary details.
4. If you do not receive the confirmation e-mail, please also check your Spam or Junk folder, as some mail servers may redirect automated messages. If the message is not found, contact us at info@thevoid.ro or +40 741 372 273.
5. Bookings are reconfirmed on the day of the event by a phone call and/or a follow-up e-mail. If the booking is not confirmed by phone and we receive no reply within 2 hours from the first call or reconfirmation e-mail, the booking is cancelled automatically.

4. RESCHEDULING, CANCELLATION AND ONLINE PAYMENTS

1. Online payments are processed via NETOPIA mobilPay. The booking becomes active after payment confirmation.
2. By completing the payment, you confirm that you are authorized to use the card and that you have read these Terms and Conditions.
3. Rescheduling is free of charge and may be requested at least 24 hours before the booked time.
4. Requests submitted less than 24 hours in advance cannot be accepted, except for exceptional cases and only subject to availability.
5. In case of cancellation by the customer, the Company may:
   1. offer rescheduling to another available date; or
   2. refund the paid amount, minus the bank fees retained by the payment processor and an administrative fee of 5% of the booking value.
6. In case of cancellation by the Company, the customer may choose between:
   1. a full refund of the paid amount; or
   2. rescheduling for another convenient date.
7. Refunds are processed through the same payment channel (NETOPIA mobilPay) within a maximum of 7 business days.
8. By completing the payment, the customer acknowledges that the service is a leisure activity at a fixed date and time and accepts the rescheduling and refund conditions stated above.

5. GAME RULES

1. Players must follow Game Master instructions regarding rules, safety, and conduct. Failure to comply may result in termination without refund.
2. Use of force or intentional damage is strictly prohibited. Offenders must cover damages and will be removed.
3. Participants under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be refused entry or removed without refund.
4. Abusive or unsafe behavior results in immediate termination without refund.
5. Food and beverages are not allowed during the game.

6. GIFT VOUCHERS

1. A voucher becomes valid after payment confirmation and receipt of the confirmation e-mail.
2. Vouchers are valid for 6 months from the purchase date. After expiry, they cannot be used or refunded.
3. Bookings made with a voucher can be rescheduled according to section 4.
4. No refunds are available for unused or expired vouchers.
