This document sets out the terms and conditions governing the use of the website, information regarding bookings, payments, rescheduling and cancellations, as well as the participation and safety rules applicable to the Psynapse B (Void Tech) escape room experience operated by THE VOID ENTERPRISE S.R.L. By making a booking and participating in the Psynapse B experience, the customer agrees to these Terms and Conditions.

1. WEBSITE USE AND SECURITY
1. The website https://thevoid.ro/psynapse-2/ is operated by THE VOID ENTERPRISE S.R.L., hereinafter referred to as the “Company”.
2. The Company reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions whenever necessary. Any amendments shall become applicable upon their publication on the website.
3. These Terms and Conditions apply to all persons who use the website, make a booking or participate in the Psynapse B experience and should be reviewed before making a booking.
4. The Company makes reasonable efforts to ensure that the information published on the website is accurate and up to date.
5. The website content is intended for personal and non-commercial use. Copying, modifying, reproducing or redistributing the content without the Company’s prior written consent is prohibited.
6. The website may not be used for unlawful purposes or in any manner that could adversely affect its operation, the Company or other persons.
7. Personal data is processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of personal data (GDPR) and the applicable Privacy Policy.
8. The website may contain links to external websites or services. The Company accepts no responsibility for their content or operation.
2. GENERAL INFORMATION
1. The Psynapse B (Void Tech) experience is designed for teams of 3 to 7 participants.
2. The recommended minimum age is 10 years. Participants under the age of 14 may participate only when accompanied by an adult.
3. The experience lasts approximately 100 minutes.
4. Participants are requested to arrive at the location at the scheduled booking time or a few minutes beforehand. Access to the experience area is granted according to the Game Master’s instructions, generally once all team members have arrived. If participants arrive more than 15 minutes late, the duration of the experience may be reduced or the session may be cancelled without a refund.
5. The experience does not require physical strength or any special physical abilities.
6. Thematic elements involving clinical trials, laboratories, experiments, medical procedures or medication are exclusively part of the fictional and artistic setting of the experience and do not constitute actual medical consultations, treatments or medical activities.
7. The experience may include props designed to resemble pharmaceutical products, laboratory materials or other items associated with a clinical trial. These are used exclusively as part of the storyline and gameplay. No part of the experience involves invasive medical procedures, injections, sample collection or any other medical intervention on participants.
8. Persons with photosensitive epilepsy, claustrophobia or other conditions that may be affected by lights, sounds, enclosed spaces, special effects or other elements typically associated with an escape room experience should assess beforehand whether participation is suitable for them and inform the staff whenever they consider it necessary.
9. Photography and video recording inside the experience are not permitted unless expressly authorised by the Company.
10. The game areas are monitored by audio and video for participant safety, equipment protection and the proper operation of the experience.
11. Personal belongings must be stored in the areas indicated by the staff before the experience begins.
12. Smoking is prohibited in all indoor areas operated by the Company.
3. BOOKINGS
1. Bookings may be made online through the dedicated Psynapse B booking page or by phone.
2. The booking is confirmed by e-mail, which contains the relevant information regarding the date, time and booked experience.
3. If the confirmation e-mail is not received, customers are requested to check their Spam or Junk folders, as some e-mail services may automatically redirect messages. If the message cannot be found there, the customer may contact the Company at info@thevoid.ro or by phone at 0770 752 630.
4. Bookings may be reconfirmed on the day of the experience by phone and/or by an additional e-mail.
5. For bookings that have not been paid in advance, if we are unable to obtain confirmation by phone and receive no response within 2 hours of our first call or from the time the reconfirmation e-mail is sent, the booking may be automatically cancelled.
6. For bookings paid online, failure to answer the reconfirmation call or e-mail will not result in the cancellation of the booking. The reserved time slot will remain unavailable for other bookings and will be held for the customer until the scheduled booking time. If the customer does not arrive at the scheduled date and time and has not requested a cancellation or modification in advance in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, the booking will be considered a “no-show”. In such cases, the amount paid is non-refundable and the booking cannot be rescheduled, as the time slot was reserved exclusively for the customer and could no longer be made available to other participants.
4. RESCHEDULING, CANCELLATIONS AND ONLINE PAYMENTS
1. The applicable prices are those displayed on the website at the time the booking is made and are expressed in Romanian Lei (RON).
2. Online payments are processed through NETOPIA Payments on behalf of THE VOID ENTERPRISE S.R.L.
3. A booking paid online becomes active once payment has been confirmed.
4. By making a payment, the customer confirms that they are authorised to use the card or payment method provided and that they have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
5. A booking may be rescheduled free of charge if the request is made at least 24 hours before the scheduled date and time.
6. Rescheduling requests submitted less than 24 hours before the scheduled booking time will be considered subject to availability and the circumstances presented. Rescheduling in such cases is not guaranteed.

9. Refunds are processed through the same payment processor, NETOPIA Payments, to the card used for the original transaction. The Company will process the refund within a maximum of 7 business days. The time required for the refunded amount to appear in the customer’s account may depend on the issuing bank and payment processor.
10. The refund conditions set out in point 7 apply when the customer requests cancellation before the scheduled booking time. These conditions do not apply to “no-show” situations described in Section 3, in which case the amount paid is non-refundable and the booking cannot be rescheduled.
11. By completing the payment, the customer acknowledges that the purchased service is a leisure activity provided for a specific date and time and accepts the booking, rescheduling, cancellation, no-show and refund conditions set out in these Terms and Conditions.
5. PARTICIPATION RULES
1. Participants must follow the instructions provided by the Game Master and VoidTech staff throughout the experience.
2. Intentionally damaging, forcing, dismantling or improperly using decorations, mechanisms, props or equipment is prohibited.
3. Objects, mechanisms and props included in the experience must be used only for their intended purpose within the game or in accordance with the Game Master’s instructions.
4. Access may be refused to persons under the influence of alcohol, drugs or other substances that may impair their behaviour or their ability to participate safely. If such a situation becomes apparent after the experience has begun, the participant may be removed from the experience. In such cases, amounts paid are non-refundable.
5. Aggressive, abusive or violent behaviour, or any conduct that may endanger other participants, staff, decorations or equipment, may result in immediate termination of participation without a refund.
6. Bringing or consuming personal food or beverages inside the game areas is not permitted unless expressly authorised by staff.
7. Any prop that is intended to be handled, used or consumed as part of the storyline must be used exclusively in accordance with the Game Master’s instructions. Participants must not consume, open or otherwise use any item unless they have received explicit instructions to do so.
8. Any participant may request to stop participating at any time if they feel uncomfortable or believe that they can no longer continue the experience safely.
6. GIFT VOUCHERS
1. A gift voucher becomes valid once payment has been confirmed.
2. The voucher is valid for 6 months from the date of purchase unless a different validity period is expressly stated on the voucher.
3. The voucher may be used for the Psynapse B (Void Tech) experience subject to the terms and limitations indicated at the time of purchase.
4. Use of the voucher is subject to the availability of a suitable time slot and requires a booking.
5. The voucher cannot be exchanged for cash and is non-refundable after its validity period has expired.
By making a booking, purchasing a gift voucher or participating in the Psynapse B (Void Tech) experience, the customer confirms that they have had the opportunity to review and agree to the applicable Terms and Conditions.
